Blakeslee Junction

It looks like the layout will soon be changing at Blakeslee Junction in Centralia, WA. In October, the City of Tacoma approved a contract (see below). If WSDOT has their way, they'll probably abandon the Tacoma Rail for a trail. Better get your photos soon:

Tri-State Construction, Inc., on its bid of $1,292,511.20, plus sales tax, budgeted from
the Tacoma Rail-Mountain Division Capital Projects Fund, for the realignment of the track
at Blakeslee Junction near Centralia to accommodate the Washington State Department of
Transportation’s widening of Interstate 5 – Specification No. PW11-0038F
