That is the station of Chemurgic, since the 1950s the southern most point on the Tidewater Southern. The line formerly extended to Hilmar, several miles southeast and was actually considered the mainline as it was suppossed to extend to Fresno and Bakersfield at one point.

The business is Chemurgic Chemical and the locomotives are all owned by a group of railfans, although most are owned by either Matt Monson, Bugs Bruggere or both. They call the operation the Turlock Western.

There are a couple SD9s, a former CCT GP18, a couple of 44 tonners (painted in WP style silver and orange) and some other equipment. Been a while since I've seen the place.
