For you non-Californians, Encinitas is about 3/4 down the Los Angeles to San Diego line form Los Angeles. All the trains shown are San Diegans. The San Diegans made 5 round trips daily with Sunday and holiday variations.

Note J is interesting because there were no direct trains between San Bernardino and Encinitas. One had to make "connections" in Los Angeles. The timing looks the connection probably was from the Chief. I wonder how often #74 actually stopped.
