Did the T&T and C&C ever connect?

Tonopah & Tidewater (T&T) ran from Tonopah NV to a Santa Fe connection in the early 1900s. Carson & Colorado (C&C) touched Tonopah NV on the way from nowhere (Mound House or Hazen NV) to nowhere (Keeler CA) in the late 1800s-early 1900s. C&C was narrow gage but part of it was standard gaged (and still is as far south as Hawthorne where the tracks end). Not sure if the standard gage ever made it to Tonopah - probably in a book that I can't find right now. Was there a time when both RRs were in town at once and maybe even connected? Just wondering ...
