Tracks are still in place other than the small section that was damaged by the rock slide north of Banks that Matt talked about. The rock slide has been removed. The tunnel is still an issue. The Cascade section of the tour train was doing well ridership wise. With proper advertising and a nice train it could be very profitable to operate out of Cascade spring to fall. Thought has been put into operating out of Cascade again but I have yet to hear any final plans.

At one time Rio Grande Pacific and INPR were looking at a self propelled motor car for that run but I believe that isn't still being talked about. Having crews to operate the Cascade stuff is an issue. No one still lives in Cascade that works for INPR or TML and so everyone has to drive up from Emmett. Deadhead driving and HOS can make that an issue.
