Okay Marty, got to agree with you here. But the E5 would be even better with the as-delivered skirts over the trucks. Too cool!

As for the SD45s, yep, they were very impressive. Yet, if it were up to me, a Southern Pacific SD40T-2 (8300 series tunnel snoot) set up for remote service would be my choice of pure brute force good looks.
Who could resist that long, low, bristling with lights and antennas style, with a "I'm here to work" attitude.
