Over on that other site, there were complete reports.
Trees had fallen onto the tracks, and the lead locomotive
is stuck in mud. Trees fell onto the baggage car. The
locomotives, the baggage car, and the transition dorm car had to
be left behind at the scene. UP sent the lead locomotive
of a Hinkle-Roseville freight (the QHKRV) to the rescue,
and pulled the rest of the train back to Chemult, OR, where the
passengers were transferred to buses and taken northward
to their destinations. (Chemult is 165 miles southeast of
Portland, OR.)
The slide was near MP 571, near McCredie Springs, OR.
Thankfully, no injuries to anyone.

(By the way, the bad slide at Frazier several years ago
was 45 rail miles from this slide --and 5 miles as the
crow flies.)
