Railroad retirement is not government sponsored. It is funded by the railroad workers and the railroads. The federal govt has no right to touch anything to do with Railroad Retirement. They need our money so they can piss it off just like they've done with social security. I'm trying to figure out why the republicans don't try and change federal employees retirement from 30 and 55? Or the fact that they will draw their full salaries until they're dead. Cut them back to social security benefits and the additional money saved I'm sure would fund social security for several more years.
