Just as an aside on the DV, it's really not that hard to chase and the most interesting thing
was in looking at the bridge structures, the cuts, fills, etc, it might have been narrow gauge
but it was built to mainline standards. The bridge just West of Ryan was steel, heavy constructed
and a serious piece. The tourist thing wasn't enough to save it but the ride would have been
something if it had lasted but another twenty or so years.
