Yes, and you should not have any trouble with even a passenger car. Even where the road is in the bed of a wash, it is firm. Of course, I suppose that could change with just one flash flood, but it is overall a good road. Speaking of flash floods, the ATSF intalled high water detectors on some of the trestles. Also keep an eye out for two old prewar ATSF boxcars at a small mining site about halfway between Cadiz and Rice.
