Errol Ohman R.I.P.

Some of you may know Errol Ohman, retired Southern Pacific Western Division locomotive engineer. who was very active in steam locomotive restoration and operation in the Bay Area, particularly in recent years at PLA's Niles Canyon Railway.

I've received word from his brother Jeff Garrett, retired Amtrak Road Foreman of Engines / ex-SP locomotive engineer, that Errol passed away yesterday (Sunday) evening following a long battle with cancer. Services are pending.
