This is very sad news indeed. Errol had me my first cabride back in the late 90's shortly before he retired when he was the regular engineer on the Crocket Rocket. He was also the first railroader I ever met. He was beyond friendly and always had a smile on his face. He was very supportive of younger fans and his impact on local preservation will be felt for decades. Without Errol, the 5623 would likely have been razor blades years ago.

Errol will be missed by all.
