Employee timetable in 1988 showed the entire San Pedro Branch as yard limits. Employee timetable in 1991 showed Downey Rd to SP Xing as yard limits, SP Xing to Thenard Conn as TWC, and Thenard Conn to East San Pedro as yard limits. No mention of ABS or signals other than illuminated switchpoint indicators at some horn-activated switches. Does the caption say when the photo was taken? WP Geeps were the big thing on the San Pedro Branch in 1984.
