It is amazing the uses that old steel bridges are put to. In Filmore, the old Hwy 23 bridge (over the Santa Clara River) sections were removed whole and a couple of them were used in a new development called "The Bridges"! They don't go over anything other than a depression (slight) that looks like it was dug out for the bridges to go over! If SMART can sell the old bridge to someone, more power to them.
