I remember seeing 244 parked at the end of the Loyalton Branch in downtown Loyalton, I believe back in the early to mid-90's. It was painted for Nevada Northern, but I am not sure if it actually ever made it to Ely.
I also saw 244 being hauled on a flat car by CORP on a Weed-Hornbrook turn. YW dug a pit in Montague, where the flat car was eventually set-out, and 244 was moved off of the car and onto a spur track. The flat car was moved, the pit filled, and the track replaced by YW. Then 244 went to work for YW.
