I met Wes during the Washout repairs on Santa Cruz Branch and on one afternoon when the crew was firing up #48 and #50 at ProBuild; very friendly.

Whenever I was out photographing SERA on the Santa Cruz Branch, he would always acknowledge me and give a friendly wave.

I wish him only the best in his recovery.
