The plain reality of why this happened,
is because at every turn, our national leaders are FORCING us to compete on an un-even severely tilted playing field; first with one nation, then another, then another - after another. Also contributing, the artificially inflated dollar, caused by speculators bidding up the exchange rates way beyond any intrinsic value. Who pray tell, is allowing and even promoting that? Duh - those same national leaders!

Granted, they may be doing all that because of pressure from various corporate leaders who care for nothing but their own grotesque bottom lines. But it will ultimately sink all of them - and us too! Unless the labor market inflates at the same rate as other markets, there will eventually be no customers left with enough money to buy their stuff. And so far, the FED (both Greenspan and Bernake) has repeatedly acted to suppress any inflation in the labor market, while allowing other markets to run wild. So who appointed them? Duh - those same national leaders - to benefit those same corporations! Note too, that many companies who don't really want to, are also being forced (in order to compete) to do the same "out-sourcing" - or die.

Moreover, that cheap child labor, slave wages, environmental loopholes, and shoddy manufacturing are only available to US companies because those last three Presidents allowed it, and even promoted it. It was NOT allowed before that - certainly not to anywhere near as great a degree. But it is now a massive threat to not only our own standard of living, but the whole world's as well.

There is no way in holy hell that, that any company treating their employees decently, with livable wages and working conditions, and also making decent safe products; will ever successfully compete with slaves and substandard products - PERIOD. I CANNOT be done! The only way anyone in the world will ever manage that - is to force their small children to the factory floor and to ultimately become a slave themselves - A truly un-American notion!

Since each nation is sovereign, and regulations that keep the playing field level, could only be applied within our own borders; tariffs were once used to compensate for such differences between nations. But thanks to these sell-out Presidents, that is no longer true.

And don't give us any crap that it was a consumer choice. For the most part, by the time most products get to the super-market, the only choice left to the consumer is the very few brands or styles that store chooses to sell - or go without! Go to a different place - you'll find the exact same crap; the crap that gives the store the best margin (or even a kick back) - not any consumer's choice.

Take note also, that almost always, info as to the country of manufacture is not available until after the package is opened at home, if even then - fat chance of any informed choice there. Heck, I once bought a Chrysler mini-van. An American car - right? UH - NO! It's 15th breakdown left me stranded in the desert for a week. The parts took a long time because as it turned out, it had a Japanese engine, a Mexican tranny, German peripherals on the engine, and a Chinese water pump (the main part that broke); all assembled in Canada. Yes indeed - it was my choice all right - and all my fault too - for buying foreign!

All this must change soon, or else we will be living in squalid government owned camps - like most of China does right now! And the American dream will be a thing of the past - and quickly forgotten, as its history is deeply suppressed (as in China) by that same government.

Yep - WE need a new kind of President - NOW!
