Simpson Timber operations

Hello all,

Just searched the archives for info on Simpson and was unable to find what I was looking for.

Going to be out in the area next week from NC and was really hoping to catch them running. My free days will be Wednesday/Thursday/Friday.

Any help with normal days and times of operation as well as normal operating patterns (if there are any), would be greatly appreciated. Some suggestions regarding good photo locations as well as some basic directions to locations would be great as well.

This will be my first time visiting this operation so be as specific as you feel necessary for this to be a successful endeavor. I don't know when I will be able to get out here next.

Lastly, does it do any good to check in at the office prior to following and photographing them?
