All were indeed built by Budd. The Silver Peak was built in 1940 for the original Texas Zephyr. It's 88' 10" long due to the vesibule. It was originally built with a coach section to meet the requirements of the states with "Jim Crow" laws, hence the vestibule. It had a coach section, dormitory section and baggage section. It was later rebuilt by the Burlington into a full baggage car. The cars reside there while not on charter along with the Oakland based UP business cars.
