It's amazing how little Lamy has changed over the years. Yes the film is full of inconsistencies. The parting shot shows the train heading east out of Lamy for California, not to mention having traveled over Sullivan's Curve and Pine Lodge. I think the footage at around 4:20 is Kansas City, and the yard footage is Argentine. The best part is when Bob steps out of the taxi with an expression saying.. "Gee Dad, I don't really have to wear this stupid plaid vest, do I? "
