That's a really nice film. Thanks for the liink.
A look back at a far dirrerent time. Santa Fe
truly ran some very classy passenger trains.
I wish I had ridden them back then.

I noticed the "Plasure Dome" -- the seats would
rotate 360 degrees. I don't think any other
railroad had domes with individual rotating seats.

I, too, noticed a few incinsistencies (the
locomotive was not the same tbhroughout,
for one), but -- hey -- they made this for the
general public, who really would not notice
those details, which are really unimportant
for the point the RR was making in the film.
Who among us would refuse a chance to ride
the Chief of old if that were possible?
