To Robert (MP 44.7) and all others who don't know, as info. this is a Southbound, NOT Eastbound train. UP Los Angeles Area Timetable #4 Effective 0900 Monday, June 14, 2010 shows this line as the Mojave Subdivision with a Timetable Direction from North Bakersfield to East Wye-Bypass (in Colton) as South. The opposite direction is North. So again, this train you present is headed South from Kern Jct. to South Mojave over this line/subdivision. The direction on this line was changed at the same time that, 1, the Alameda Corridor was opened, 2, Hobart Interlocking Tower was closed, 3, UP Los Angeles Area Timetable #2 was issued changing the operating direction on this line/Subdivision, as well as the UP Santa Barbara Subdivision that extendeds between North San Luis Obispo and Las Posas (Moorpark, where the Metrolink Ventura Subdivision begins/ends). It is not your fault, most railfans don't know this and a majority certainly don't have a copy of the current Timetable.
