While I have not seen your contribution, I am somewhat alarmed by the amount of pictures you say you took. Without trying to be condescending, I would like to offer you a suggestion that should help you conserve your time in such matters. Chiefly, try to avoid taking so many pictures. Photography is not land surveying, at least on a railfan trip. It is a method of expression and the telling of a story, and like any conversation, can be ruined by saying too much for too long. Try harder to time your photos with the best light and situation. Limit the shutter firing! Wait for the exact moment, look for the very best angle, don't shoot just because it's there. Be thoughtful, creative and purposeful. Consider every time you take a picture, it will cost you one dollar. In this method, you will learn a strong discipline, and ultimately be rewarded with sorting through perhaps as much as 100 shots over a 1,000 mile trip. You will actually enjoy editing your pictures, and you will certainly be done much quicker. If none of those ideas appeal to you, think of this: Dynamite fishing will get you a lot of floaters that you can drag in, but fly fishing will be far more spiritually rewarding. That fish WILL taste better.
