For those in Idaho who are interested, Idaho Northern & Pacific has fixed the rock slide that closed the Idaho Northern brach north of Banks and they are running a work train north up the Payette River canyon. Not sure how far they will go, but my guess is that since the line has been cut off from Banks north since 2009, there is going to be a large amount of clean up that need to be done all the way to Cascade. I haven't heard if the INPR is planing to operate the Thunder Mountain Line tour train out of Cascade yet.
