Nice pun!! All high speed systems have had some sort of a derailment or collision. Japan not all that long ago. I doubt americans have much to worry about, by the time it gets though all the government, envirmomental, NIMBY and legal problems the projects will be so far in the hole there won't be any time or money left to build the damn things. (And by the time the routes are changed to accomodate all the above mentioned angles, it won't have a track straight enough to run more than 10 mph anyway.)
