In 1980 IRM acquired SF Muni 1183. I know this happened because I helped the late Dave Shore load it on a flatbed inside the Muni Metro Center and then transfer it to a flatcar in the Santa Fe yards down by China Basin. When it arrived at IRM, they found the corrosion damage from the TTC's wintertime salting of the streets was so extensive that they acquired a KCPS PCC body and planned on transferring all the apparatus from the 1183 to it. Whether this has transpired or not, or even if the 1883 has been stripped and the body disposed of, I have no idea.
I'm not surprised they don't list in in their roster, and I notice there are many cars I've booth seen and been inside of at IRM which aren't listed in the roster, unless they've gotten rid of them.
The 1183 is the closest IRM has come to having a "Muni" car.
