Judging from the comments of the many NIMBYS (Not In My Back Yard) in the reader responses section of the local newspaper article that covered the event, it won't be long before they are fighting tooth and nail to get this train stopped in its tracks. To hell with the "greater good" --- they're only concerned about having to listen to train horns and bells. These are the people who are even angry at talk of the rail line being converted to a trail, because it MIGHT bring undesireable people into their neighborhood and they MIGHT be peeking into their windows trying to "case the joint." NIMBYS and BANANAs (Build Abosolutely Nothing Anywhere Near Anybody) will shoot down ANY proposal or new operation of something. GUARANTEED!!
