Here is a breakdown of existing, future and past customers.
DEL MAR FOODS
They are a seasonal customer.
BIG CREEK LUMBER
They receive cars year-round.
LINEAGE (TERMINAL FREEZER) – CASCADE LOCATION
They ship cars year-round.
LINEAGE (TERMINAL FREEZER) – KEARNEY LOCATION
They are a seasonal customer.
NORTH STAR BIOFUELS
The will start operation in February and will be producing 40,000 gallons of biofuel daily from feedstock delivered by tank car. They will be operating seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
PROBUILD
They received rail car deliveries until UP put the line out of service January 2012. They would like to resume rail deliveries, but must wait until the structures on the line north of Watsonville are repaired.
AMERICOLD
They were a very big customer for UP and Sierra Northern, but lost their customer who shipped by rail in the fall of 2011.
RAIL CAR STORAGE
Sierra Northern had a good business storing rail cars near Davenport. SC&MB will have to wait until the structures on the line north of Watsonville are repaired before they have the option to store cars on the northern end of the line.
