There isn't anyone I've talked to who doesn't support this trail. Even the Timber Heritage Group embraces the rail+trail concept because they can't lose any more support. I really don't think these people understand the energy and effort involved to clean up the ROW let alone do anything else. The motorcar club tried twice. CALTRANS and the county con crews seem to do the best job on a piece meal basis. This idea has very broad support.......more so than most. Be interesting to see how it plays out.
