Researching U.P. F Units/HELP?

I've got a couple of U.P books from Morning Sun(Really excellent color photography) but not much info on thier F units. I know they had some F-3's from 1948 and another small order in the mid fifties. There's mention of of one FP-7 and a couple of F-7 B units. In a 1968 roster book I have, they then say some units were slated as F-9Am's and Bm's. So, my asumption is they were all rebuilt into F-9 inards, but still looked like the old units on the outside? Does anybody know when the rebuilds happened? Or any generalized U.P. F unit information?
Side note, S.P.? Did they have both F-7A's and FP-7A's?
