Over and above the "special" blend of gasoline, California has been blessed with the wonderful CARB (California Air Resources Board) Diesel for something like the last twenty years. Supposedly a low sulpher product which was blamed for raising hell with the fuel pump "O" rings and raising the price of Diesel in the process.
Ain't nice to know that a bunch of petty bureaucrats can impose what amounts to a tax on the owners of Diesel vehicles. I drive and F250 with a 7.3 Power Stroke engine and find fuel prices usually $0.30 higher than premium gasoline. This for with a by product of gas production.
Anyone have some gray KY?
