Bobby Kennedy's train ride in June,1968 was from NYC to Washington and attracted crowds to the size FDR's did. Had a pilot train that struck bystanders, thus Kennedy's train was slowed to a crawl past the bystanders, thus making it many hours behind schedule. Probably the most closely watched train in recent history
