What a rattlekebangen! Yes, I know it's old (and it was originally termed a "peoplemover"). Still - if they all rattle and bang around that much how can they avoid lawsuits and injuries? Suspect the buses (saw one) on the adjoining freeway are faster and more comfortable, and more frequently used.

Many years ago I was in Miami and they had something similar (though with short trains and frequent stops rather than single cars and a long run between campuses) to connect a Metro/RT station with the downtown area (which was pretty well abandoned at the time except for a "marketplace" affair on the waterfront). But vague memory suggests that it was considerably smoother. Doesn't Detroit still have one too? Once upon a time Disney(Land/World) had one too.
