Another comment: the modern successor to that thing seems to be the airport tram. Several airports have them, but they're ofton steel-wheel instead of rubber-tire. Even so, they break down a lot. Sacramento put one in as the only way to get from the check-in area to the gates in their new terminal, and it's had several well-publicized breakdowns that pretty much shut the airport down - so apparently not all of the reliability issues have been fixed yet. And the airport set it up so there's no pedestrian alternative other than the emergency evacuation route alongside the tracks. Ummm ... at least Morgantown has buses. Also, wonder how that thing does when it snows?
