Former Caltrain engine?

Yesterday I was passing the AMTRAK Yard in West Oakland and saw F40 (?)engine 90218... painted in the old caltrain silver with blue and Turquoise (?) stripes... looks like it was turned into a cab/baggage car

It said california Department of transportation and still had a name under the number... couldn't see it but it was probably the city the engine was name for when it was in Caltrain service....

Does anyone know where it will be used?
