Thanks for your positive comments, Sir.. Anytime you have 4-8-4's, double-headed AC cab forwards, an AC-9, a three-cylinder 5000, et al pulling a railfan excursion, it's bound to be pretty good. Wish I could get more of the fans on here to watch it. But I can't because it becomes a safety issue !
You see, I'd love Vic Neves to at least let me show a part of it at a WINTERAIL sometime, but the SP fans present would probably pass out in their seats-- so its not worth the risk.
For your general info, Mr. KE6QR, we have a sequel to this one coming out this year. It's called "SP STEAM VARIETY". Again, I provided the films to Greg Scholl. Then he has three technical consultants help him put everything together properly and identify locations.
The same consultants worked on both DVD's for Greg, so the products should be top notch.
In case you're wondering who they are: Phil Gosney, Evan Werkema and myself.
When "SP STEAM VARIETY" hits the market, hold on to your hats because the opening scenes are my late Father's STEAM films from the Tehachapi's, circa 1936-1937.
Thanks again for your comments, Sir.
