Fine bit of history, including stories from residents about my age. Thanks for finding it.

Iowa Traction Railroad, owned by Dave Johnson, still operates on part of the trackage with a classic freight motor. Punch the railroad name into GOOGLE.

Several years ago, during our post-retirement grand tour, we visited the line.
