I too marveled at the fine detail visible in the Google Maps satellite shots of Barstow. I have never seen better aerials of an engine facility. Usually you can see just enough detail to tell EMD from GE. Unfortunately, I think that most if not all of the stored GP30s/GP35s were sent east in large blocks about 6-9 months ago.
