Google Maps is an easy way to take a virtual tour of your favorite rail facilities around the country. I've used it to visit many of the rail museums in the U.S.

One of the more interesting locations is the Gateway Rail Services yard in Granite City, Ill., which has a diverse collection of passenger rolling stock. Among the pieces visible is the entire original "Mark Twain Zephyr" Budd trainset, as well as an extra coach built to expand the "Pioneer Zephyr" train.
