The Oregon Electric Station restaurant is one block south of the Amtrak depot, but facing away from the tracks. You can chose to go to beans in one of the old cars built into the building. The food is spendy, usually, but first class quality, the few times I have been there to eat. Lots of old pictures of the depot in it's active days as the Eugene station for the Oregon Electric. I remember when the tracks still were in the street, on 5th St. Some are still there, just paved over.
