Seems like it's typically Memorial Day weekend. Their site currently projects opening May 25.

Can't say if I recall an opening much earlier than May 1, possible only after an unusually mild winter. Even if the trail is clear of snow, the road up and over the top, which is used by the shuttle busses, might not be.

Kinda like planning a railfanning trip to the west slope of Stampede Pass. Unless you snowmobile in like Ross Fotheringham, it could be mid-July before the road over the top is driveable.
