Update: Amtrak Service Shut Down



SEATTLE - Mudslides across the track have halted Amtrak passenger train
service between Eugene and Vancouver, British Columbia.

The slide came down about 3 miles north of Vancouver in the Fleida
area. It is reportedly 80 feet long and 6 feet deep.

The tracks up to Seattle are also plagued by downed trees and high
water.

Crews are working to get the area cleaned up. All service is halted for
48 hours. Weather permitting, it will be lifted around 2:30 a.m.
Wednesday.
