Sorry to hear about John, Dick. He was a great photographer, His wife is an accomplished artist. They lived a reclusive life on Marrowstone Island in Washington State where the Pacific Ocean connects with Puget Sound. I've been to their home. He had a large telescope to watch the various ships come into the Sound from the ocean. He told me that he had sold his large negative collection to you. A fine choice for his legacy !! You mention that he passed on June 20th (2012??)... You must have just recently found out the news !!
Take care, Dick. Thanks for letting us know the sad news !!
