This leads me to a question. Is the Canadian National the only TRUE east-west transcontinental line in the U.S. and Canada? I cannot think of another that physically goes to each ocean except perhaps CP? I think it is just a matter of time before a U.S. railroad will do that through a merger, but is CN the only one so far? Thanks for comments.
