For those that are wondering,
The reason we had to lease the locomotive was due to a little hitch in our repairs to the MH 89. One of the radiators had been leaking and it was begining to deteriorate rapidly so the decision was made to swap the core out. Unfortunately the replacement core turned out to be in worse shape than the old one which caught us by suprise. Because of the lead time from our parts source we had to lease an engine from UP to service our customers. The F-Units are only suitable for road work and may not be used for switching as per FRA regulation also they are both out of time on the blue cards since early April.
