The Milwaukee did access Grays Harbor via the UP west of Centralia, at Rochester way back in the day at a place called Helseng Jct. This was under water during the monster flood they just had there. The Milwaukee had a line that split off at Maytown that ran west to just south of Littlerock then cut south to Rochester(The ROW can be seen from Littlerock Road in a few places). They also did have their own line to Willipa Harbor, but abandoned this a long time ago. They had a hellacious grade west of Pe Ell to get over the Willipa Hills. The NP/BN serviced Willipa Harbor until the early 90's, when it was abandoned.
