Did the CCRCLs even include the RCL equipment, or were they removed?

I'm surprised they went for as much as they did, seeing that they were otherwise scrap metal and nothing else.

I'd like to know where the B40-8s went. They would make for interesting shortline power for a railroad that could use it.
