The average of $82,000 per year figure was what was stated by one of the labor representatives during a TV interview a week or so ago. I assume it includes overtime.
The woman also stated the unions were seeking a 5% wage increase over three years, while BART was offering 1% over the same period. I've never found out where the reported 23% amount originated.
