From records at the Skykomish Historical Society: the Sky roundhouse started as a 3 stall in 1893, then went to an 8 stall in 1894, was reduced to 3 stalls in 1902, became a 6 stall in 1918, was 12 stalls in 1923, then may have some bays removed, but burned in 1943.

The Sky Musurm has about 1000 digitized photos of the GN era in the upper Sky Valley. I volunteer at the musuem, interested people can contact me at mvmmvm@comcast.net. In a few months some of these photos will be online.
