Imagine that this tragedy was on the other side of the border - ie. Maine..... Think of the population difference vs. Canada and the USA. The USA trumps by about 10x what tragedy Canada faces if it was it's own population... think of 500 peoples vs. the 50 projected lives lost due to this incident...

that is staggering compared to what Canada has to face now. That is why Prime Minister Harper was on the front line within days of this accident. My heart goes out to those who have experienced a loss at this time..
